Osama Aldowekat, MD Orthopedic Surgeon | Pediatric Orthopedics | Limb Deformity & Reconstruction | Limb Lengthening Osama Aldowekat is a Jordanian orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedics, limb deformity correction, limb lengthening, and complex reconstruction, with additional expertise in pediatric and adult foot and ankle surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Jordan University Hospital. During his residency, he demonstrated academic excellence, achieving high rankings in national and in-training orthopedic examinations, and subsequently obtained the Jordanian Board in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Aldowekat pursued advanced sub-specialty training in the United States, completing a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. He is currently completing advanced fellowship training in Limb Lengthening and Complex Reconstruction at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. His clinical interests include the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions, congenital and acquired limb deformities, limb reconstruction, limb lengthening techniques, and foot and ankle disorders affecting both children and adults. His practice focuses on restoring function, improving mobility, and providing individualized solutions for complex orthopedic problems. Dr. Aldowekat has a strong interest in orthopedic research and academic advancement. His research work includes developmental dysplasia of the hip, artificial intelligence applications in orthopedic imaging, pediatric hip disorders, trauma, and adult reconstruction. He has published in peer-reviewed orthopedic journals and has presented research at international orthopedic meetings. In addition to clinical and research activities, Dr. Aldowekat is passionate about medical education and has been actively involved in teaching orthopedic residents and medical students through lectures, clinical teaching, and structured educational programs.
